This morning your child wrote: "Ask me about Rooney and Punyi." in his/her agenda.

First thing today your child participated to our calendar time, where we read a morning message about our field trip. Following this, we discussed proper bus behaviour, and listening behaviour for the Rooney and Punyi show. 

The class had a small snack before leaving. 

When we arrived to the library, your child enjoyed listening, and participating to the show. Ask them about it! It was plenty of fun.

Back at school, students had a little snack, following this grade 1's identified certain "groups" by looking at pictures, while the grade 2's did their spelling work for the week.

The class switched out their library books.

This afternoon we read to self, following this we had an afternoon message about punctuation!  Your child learnt what the use of a period, comma, question mark and exclamation mark is. They then practiced in their writing.

To end the day, we began to learn about the apostles creed. The subject of the part of the apostles creed saying :"he  descended into hell, the third day he rose again from the dead and ascended into heaven ", the word "hell" was discussed and the place as well. We reviewed why Jesus went there. The conversation will continue tomorrow.
