This morning your child wrote: "Please check your e-mail" in his/her agenda. The promised e-mail is sitting in your inbox waiting to be read.

The school showed off their crazy hair and hats today at our assembly. The subject of safe Trick or Treating was discussed and reviewed. We also learnt that our school goal for speaking French would be a backwards day...

When students returned to class, they finished in their agenda's. We then followed our daily calendar routine. 

Grade 1's completed a reading comprehension/math booklet, while the grade 2's were tested on their spelling, they were also pre-tested on their French spelling words of the week.

After small recess and snack, we played the game "J'ai, qui a".. following this we talked about the Halloween centres in the afternoon and how they would work. We especially reviewed TOLERANCE.

Afterwards, grade 1's finished drawing the groups they are a part of.

Grade 2's learned about map keys, and used a map key to identify locations in their mapping book.

The class enjoyed music with Mme Dominique.

This afternoon, students enjoyed Halloween centres: Story, Coloring, Bingo, Dance and Scavenger Hunt.
