This morning students wrote: "Practice the numbers up to 100 in French" especially practice naming random numbers and counting up or down from them.

The class completed a round of French Daily 5, decoded our morning message, and went through calendar time. Afterwards, students were asked to continue writing the middle to the beginning I gave them on Friday.

In gym, students enjoyed learning some Tennis skills.

After little recess and snack grade 1's used the Ipads to research information about the plant they want in our garden, finding out whether it would be something that could survive in our climate. Grade 2's explored information about Saskatoon using a variety or QR codes.

The class exchanged their library books.

This afternoon, we had time to do a round of Daily 5, watch the start of our volunteer picnic presentation... Then grade 2 students worked on their stories, while grade 1's continued to learn about adjectives, noun, action words (verbs) and places to write poems.

We ended our day learning that we can share the Good News by learning about God in religion.
