This morning students wrote "Bring your library books tomorrow." in their agendas.

We did not have an assembly this morning, so we went through our morning routine of daily 5, morning message and calendar time. Then the grade 1's wrote about the living and non-living things in the school yard, then we talked about how we could use our school garden to help the local community... Students mentionned selling the crop, or donating the food. Each grade 1 was asked to choose something to plant in the garden, and why they would want to plant it. Grade 2's reviewed which direction it is to get to Saskatoon, then they explored Saskatoon's weather and identified what they would wear if they went to Saskatoon.

After little recess and snack, we practiced our base ten recognition, then the grade 2's answered addition questions with ten. Grade 1's practiced adding with doubles and near doubles.

Students enjoyed music with Mme Dominique.

After lunch and big recess, grade 1's enjoyed gym, while the grade 2's reviewed the polarity of magnets, and they learned that not all magnets have the same strength.
