This morning grade students wrote: "No school tomorrow. See you on Monday!" in their agendas.

The class completed a round of French Daily 5, followed by the morning message (story is continuing!!) One of our grade 1 students lead us through the calendar document.

Grade 1's were asked to write a sentence developing a problem. Grade 2's continued to work on the verbs "être" and "avoir" with the word nous (we)... They needed to write a page about what we do as a class, to practice using the verbs correctly.

After little recess and snack, the grade 2's continued to work on their boats, we also discussed, and wrote down why some of our coats sink (materials aren't waterproof, too heavy, holes in our boat) we also discussed ways to fix it (covering the holes).

Grade 1's were given their next building project-build a rural community-grade 1 students selected what they wanted to build for our community, and then they drew a plan, and began.

In religion, we learned about the story of Jesus' experience in the wilderness, and the three temptations; hunger, power and hopelessness. We also talked about Adam and Eve's story of temptation, and what happened to them.

After lunch and big recess, we completed a round of daily 5, followed by our afternoon message.

Mme Giesbrecht came in to watch us paint our cute "Hear-Near-Far perspective sailboats"

Students brought home 100th day posters, those who did not want to bring it home either recycled it or threw it out.
