Our agenda message today is 'Ask me about planting'. Early this morning, students went outside to do their part of planting our EMP garden! Ask your child what it looked like, and what job they had.

Preceding planting the garden, students wrote in their nature books all of the things that will be growing in our garden: carrots, beans, peas, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and beets.

Students participated to a fire drill.

After small recess, we enjoyed our time in the Music room with Mme Dominique. In gymnase we did some track-and-field style stations.

We continued to work on our personal timelines.

This afternoon, we reviewed what a non-fiction book does: they teach. When you write a non-fiction book you promise to teach your reader about your topic. Ask yourself before you write a non-fiction book: "What can I teach someone all about?"

We ended our day by learning about the Feast of the Pentecost.
