Our agenda message today is 'Scholastic Orders due tomorrow'

Mme Simpatico did a fabulous job with the class, they started off their morning with some fun games in the gym. The Grades 4-6 are completing Track and Field, and so the Kinders-3 are focusing on the fundamental movement skills of running and jumping. So they played a variety of games, and did some exercise stations.

Upon their return to the classroom, students made up some animal themed Bingo games, that they will be able to use in the future to work their vocabulary.

After recess, they worked on subtraction strategies, talking about different ways of representing a subtraction.

They then moved into Sciences where they watched a Bill Nye video about Animal Adaptations.

In the afternoon students completed their Daily 5. They then read the book: "What if you had animal hair?". This initiated their writing about what if they had a certain body part. This ties in nicely with a portion of our Science unit (adaptations)

To end the day, the class learned about the story of Ascension.
