Our agenda message today is 'Practice New French Flashcards'. Remember to check out my Français tab in case you're feeling like you need help with pronunciation!

This morning students participated to a morning message about one of my personal visits to the zoo, we then discussed all the different animals you might find at the zoo, and why we like them. We did some French writing about the animals we like, and dislike, justifying why as well.

We practiced a song that we will performing at our volunteer tea.

After small recess, we reviewed our living and non-living activity we did yesterday. I asked the class to justify why each object, or animal/plant was living or non-living. We then brainstormed different homes for living things, and we ensured to include plant homes in our brain storm.

Students enjoyed Music with Mme Dominique.

Upon our return, we read a book about living things and their characteristics. We then revisited plants as living things, specifically seeds. We learned their needs, and what makes them grow.

This afternoon, students participated in Daily 5, followed by library. We ended our day with some Daily Physical Activity in the classroom.
