Our message today is 'We have library tomorrow'.

This morning we re-read our class book: Lapin, we were then were visited by a special guest: Mamie (my grandmother). She spoke to the class about her past. She talked to them about the way her house looked, what her family did for laundry, for milk and bread, as well as for PHONES! I even learnt some things about my grandmother's past, and Canada's past thanks to her. Students will then be able to see that my grandma's past, and choice to move to Alberta decided a part of my past.

After small recess, students went to the computer lab to allow your children to play some math games on my website. I highly encourage you to check them out, as they are very good for practice! AND the class loved it.

Afterwards, we discussed as a class the needs of plants, we then talked about how a seed grows, what it looks like etc.

This afternoon, the class enjoyed gym with a different guest instructor.

Students then continued to work on their All-About books. We spoke about ideas and how sometimes you can stick them all under one page: for example rather than having a helmet page, and a hockey stick page, and a puck page etc. you could simply have an EQUIPMENT page!

That's all for today.
