This morning students wrote: "Please send in grocery store flyers." these will be used on Wednesday. Your child will fill a plate with pictures from the flyers, and these pictures will represent a well balanced meal (super).

Students continued to work on La chenille qui fait des trous. On Saturday, she ate so much junk food that her tummy hurt! Students needed to write and draw all of the things our caterpillar ate.

After small recess, the class enjoyed music with Mme Dominique. They then got to get moving with jump ropes in gym.

Students used the strategy: drawing a picture, to help them solve math problems. We were particularly interested in skip counting by 2's to allow us to know the amount of bicycle wheels needed to fix a bicycle!

This afternoon we continued to work on our story plans, we reviewed the parts of the stories, and what sort of things needed to be in each part (Beginning: Who, What, Where. Middle: Uh Oh! (problem) End: :) (fix the problem))

Everyone came up with some very exciting stories, that I am looking forward to reading about.

To end our day, we started to discuss the holy week, particularly Monday, where Jesus was upset because he found people selling things and buying in the Temple! Tomorrow we will be looking at the stations of the cross.
