Tuesday March 22nd 2016
This morning's agenda message was: "Please check e-mail" I have recently sent the e-mail, so go ahead and have a read :)
Students completed our La chenille qui fait des trous. We practiced reading our stories as a group, and we also shared our individualized sections with other friends. It will be in your child's yellow duo-tang at parent-teacher interviews :)
After small recess, we brainstormed all of the many different things that we learnt in the number up to 100 unit. We talked about how we learnt to count by groups of 2's, 5's and 10's. That we learnt how to use a number line to help etc. Students will be completing a math evaluation tomorrow on numbers up to 100.
We listened to our star of the week present her poster (she spoke so very incredible French!!), and a new star was chosen for after spring break.
This afternoon students enjoyed gym outside with M. Loiselle.
We then watched Mlle Élodie as she used the story plan that she had created to write her own story. Students then started to work on writing theirs as well.
Students went to the reading corner by the library to participate to the stations of the cross.
