What an exciting day!

We started off our morning with an agenda message "Christmas lunch and pyjama day is tomorrow." please don't forget that you only need to pack a snack!

While the grade 2's were out for gym with Mme Harding... Grade 1 students began their morning with reading the Grinch followed by creating a Christmas five senses book (we talked about all the things we see/hear/smell/taste/touch during the Christmas season).

When the grade 2's returned, we completed a Grinchy/Frosty morning message, followed by listening to the Frosty the snowman story. Grade 1 students then wrote in French about all the things the Grinch stole on Christmas eve. Grade 2's wrote in French about what they would do if their snowman came to life.

Students worked through some Grinchy/Frosty math problems.

We began writing a story re tell of the Grinch/Frosty the snowman.

In the afternoon we completed a round of Daily 5, we continued working on our story re-tell, then students got some snacks, and the class watched the original Grinch movie! Tomorrow we will watch the Frosty the snowman movie!

Students ended their day in Music with Mme Dominique.
