This morning students wrote: "Have a Merry Christmas!" in their agendas.

Today the grade 1 students did French or English daily 5, they then decoded the morning message, completed the calendar document. Students then received their French prize for speaking French throughout the week.

The class had a small snack followed by an outdoor recess. After this we made Christmas cards and decorated our gift bags. 

Christmas lunch came next, and a great big THANK YOU to my parent volunteers that made lunch a success! 

Students enjoyed a third recess (which allowed the parents and I to clean up the classroom).

Finally, our afternoon consisted of a movie in the classroom (Frosty the snowman), gym outside with Mme Harding and the giving of gifts.
