Our message is 'Talk about our family history'.

This morning students were given a challenging book in French. They began by finding and highlighting the combo sounds that they have learned so far this year. We will be using this book to do a variety of activities that will help direct students on how to read even hard to read books, allowing them to grow in confidence.

In Social Studies we began to learn about the past. We started by reading a book on changes that can happen in the lives of families. In the book there were children who were talking about one big change that occurred in their lives. We then shared one change that happened in our lives.

In Science we continued to share about all of the discoveries we made yesterday with the chromebooks. We searche more intensively on certain fruits and vegetables to ensure they were a good fit for our garden.

Students enjoyed music with Mme Dominique.

In math we learned about volume and went out to the park to use sand to compare the volume of two different containers.

We had a fire drill at 2:00pm

This afternoon, students exchanged their library books.

To end our day, students learnt about the story of Mary and Martha. They especially learnt the importance of following what Jesus teaches.
