Sorry about the delayed post, I was under the impression, and remember vividly updating and posting yesterday, but I suppose it did not register.

Our message is 'Waste free lunch and snack tomorrow'. In addition to this, it is also "dress like your favorite book character!

This morning students were visited by our wonderful French Folk Dance teacher in Gym.

After our calendar time, we re-visited our understanding of the past. Students then learnt about timelines, and how they can sometimes help us understand our past better. We then made a seasons timeline.

Rather than completing a measurement evaluation as expected, we did a whole class review on all the measuring styles we've encountered. Students had to find the largest surface, longest length, the object with the biggest mass and biggest capacity. We then played some games to practice our knowledge of mass and capacity.

Afterwards, we decided on planting potatoes and carrots, tomorrow we will decide on planting either zucchini, peas, or strawberries.

To end our day, students learnt about All-About books (non-fiction). Students learnt that when you write an all-about book, you need to make sure that the topic "fits" you just right. They then began to write their own all-about books, starting with a table of contents.
