This morning students wrote: "Hats on for mental health tomorrow."

Grade 2 parents, a reminder that tomorrow your child will be participating to the Holy Childhood Mass-leaving at 9:30am and returning around 1pm, parents, please review bus expectations.

Grade 1 parents, a reminder that tomorrow your child will be spending the majority of the day with Mme Ruel or Mme Pamela, doing French and Science activities, with that being said, it may be beneficial for you to have an extra chat with them about classroom expectations.

After our agenda's were finished, students completed a round of French Daily 5, worked on our reading skills by decoding the morning message, and then went through our calendar document.

For French, grade 1's wrote about the tree they drew in their Science journals-later this week we will talk about the significant changes between the first tree we drew (fall), the second (winter) and last (spring). Grade 2's continued to work on developing their French stories.

After little recess and snack the class practiced using tens and ones to represent numbers. Then the grade 1's created a list of things they knew and changes they've seen in spring. Grade 2's tested and learned about magnetic poles, they realized that Similar pole retract and opposite poles attract.

The class exchanged their books at the library.

This afternoon, students worked on their google slides non-fiction presentations, they will be reviewed today and posted on Seesaw within the next few days.

We ended our day by starting to talk about our super duper top-secret volunteer tea presentation.
