Our message is 'Please check your email tonight'. As promised, the e-mail was sent off promptly during my preparation time near the end of the day.
Students had the opportunity to practice a basic conjugation of an action in French in their writing. They wrote once again about what they like to do in Spring, and additionally wrote about what they don't like about spring (many wrote that they didn't like the stinky sewers!).
We used the chromebooks to allow us to better understand our Garden. Students researched information about soil, earthworms, seeds, as well as a variety of plants. This will allow them to plan our garden better. We also learned the important skill of note-taking! Information can often be forgotten, so it's best to take notes so we can remember.
Students enjoyed learning a fun traditional French style of dance: La Girandole, with a community expert!
To end our day, we continued learning about measurement in Math, completing our understanding of the measurement in Math. Students played a game "The battles of masses" where they turned over cards that had different objects drawn upon them, winner gains a point!
