Our message today is 'Practice new French flashcards'. please check out my video: Le printemps if you are feeling concerned about the pronunciation of all the words. You can also find the video under my Français tab on the website.

This morning, during Calendar, we revisited some of our math patterning knowledge, decoding the calendar numbers! Nice to see they still remember their skills. We then played a French vocabulary game using the syllables in words from our French flashcards to allow us to write and read the complete word for example: che/n/ille.

We then had the opportunity to listen to our fabulous étoile de la semaine share her poster.

The class enjoyed watching some Veggie Tales in the Music room. 

Students went to gym where we launched our dance unit by learning about moving to the rhythm, listening to the words of the song to follow the actions and following the leader.

This afternoon the class continued to learn about writing how-to books. Students especially learned that using a list can help us remember how to do things properly.

Finally, we ended our day by learning about Jesus as the vine. We also learnt about how we are helped through His Word and example
