Our agenda message today is 'Please sign and return orange permission form'. In case it didn't make it home here it is: Permission Slips
In gym, we are working on a unit of Track and Field. We played a themed tag game, and learned a little bit about the long jump.
This morning we learned prepositions in French and how to couple them with what we already know in order to describe the animals that are in and around our imaginary drawing.
In science we read a book about a mystery seed. We then looked at a bag of mystery seeds that Mme has through 'scientists' eyes and described them physically before planting them.
In math we practiced using our variety of addition and subtraction strategy's to complete some questions. We also played a game to reinforce using our doubles as a strategy.
For those who ordered Hot lunch, the class really enjoyed it!
This afternoon, students learned to write about a selected object with their five senses, but changing the things they smell, see, touch, taste and hear with the words of a poet. A tree looks like a tiny house for elves, with the rooftops painted a forest green!
We ended our day with making tissue paper flowers for our volunteer picnic.
