Happy St. Patricks day!

This morning students wrote: "Practice English Sight Words" in their agendas.

Students were super excited to find that our sneaky leprechaun friend came and set off most of our traps, leaving footprints, stealing Lucky Charms and He left green footprints, setting off our traps and erasing Mlle's morning message, which he then replaced with his own. He also left us a little treat.

After the excitement students enjoyed some jumping centers in the gym.

When we returned we brainstormed words that go well with Leprechauns and did some writing.

In math we practiced some more strategies, specifically how to count a number of objects that cannot be moved in groups of 5 and 10... That was quite the fun!

Afterwards, students were thrilled to build their own woodpecker, that they have also taken home.

This afternoon we learnt a little bit more about the life of Jesus, specifically about this Sunday's mass (Palm Sunday) and the meaning as well as importance of this day.

We were invited to the Grade Four classroom to watch the students present their leprechaun traps. We talked about what we learned when we returned to our classroom.
