Our agenda message today is 'No school tomorrow'.

This morning we enjoyed our time in the gym, where we got to continue practicing some very tenis-like skills!

We then moved into the classroom, where we had a good discussion about earth day, and what it means.

Students did some French Earth Day writing. We each made a promise to keep the earth clean.

The class was tested on their sight words.

In math we continued to learn about mass. Students had the opportunity to practice the vocabulary: Plus lourd (heavier) plus léger (lighter) and pareil (the same) while using a balance to measure objects.

Once we were done measuring different masses, we put on our cleaning gloves and took out a few bags to do our part for the environment by cleaning trash from the park and surrounding area.

This afternoon we read the book the Lorax, as we are celebrating Earth day one day early. We additionally did some Lorax themed writing in English-so check out our Kidblog to read more about it!

Enjoy the weekend!
