Monday October 26th
This morning's agenda message was: Please practice French flashcards.
Students started off the day with a discussion about what they did this weekend, learning some: "J'ai" "Je suis" vocabulary!
I demonstrated my identity box, and showed the students that a simple tee-shirt is enough! We then read a book about Franklin and his beaver badges, and we talked about all of the things that he could bring in HIS identity box!
The class enjoyed music with Mme Dominique
We then practiced our ball handling skills in the gym, learning that a ball has a constant rolling movement, and we learned how to aim and throw better!
The class used their French dictionaries to write a short sentence using Halloween words.
Students practiced reading to self and reading to a partner! We are still working on reading quietly...
We discussed about the "two vowels go walking" rule! When two vowels go walking, the first one says its name!!!
We ended our day off in Religion learning about the story of Moses!
Best wishes :)
