This morning students wrote: "Have an awesome weekend!" in their agendas.

Today we read our morning message about the snow... We followed it by discussing the weather. This led us into a classroom meeting about proper recess behavior: walking on the snow, not on the ice... Sliding down the hill on your butt or your knees feet first, not on your feet or head first... wearing proper snow gear etc. The class then began to mention their concern about students in the washroom. We revisited proper washroom behavior, and what to do if someone wasn't following the rules.

Grade 1's then completed a pre-reading skills French evaluation. Grade 2's finished writing about their Thanksgiving.

After small recess, grade 1's continued to learn about numbers, specifically that numbers can be represented in any position, but the value does not change. Grade 2's continued practicing with the number line, counting by 2's, 5's and 10's forwards and backwards.

Both grades completed their printing books.

Afterwards, we discussed the final thing about St. Albert: language...

This afternoon we practiced another round of read to self and read to a partner. The class was EXTREMELY quiet.

Grade 2's continued working in their spelling books. Grade 1's finished their look look books.

We ended our day with religion, learning about the place our prayer table holds in the classroom, and its representation for us.
