Friday April 7th 2017

This morning students wrote: "Have a great weekend!" in their agendas.

First thing today, we went to Mme Miller's class to read with her kinders a second time, then when we returned to class we decoded our morning message, then we were lead through calendar time by one of our grade 1 friends.

Afterwards, the class used the ipads to complete a weather report in French! They were very cute, and have been posted on Seesaw.

After snack and little recess, students read to Mme Byfield's kinders. 

Once back in the classroom, the class worked hard to complete our stations of the cross stained glass art project (they are posted at the school entrance). It was very meditative for the kids to select and place each piece of tissue paper around the silhouette they were given.

After Hot Lunch and big recess, we completed a round of Daily 5.

We threw on our French hats, and did a full read-through our play, then the students went back to their scripts and highlighted the sounds in their parts, and crossed out silent letters. They were asked to read their part to a partner a few times... We will finish practicing next week!

Students ended their day with Daily Physical Activity outside!
