Thursday April 6th 2017

This morning students wrote: "Ask me about our field trip!" in their agendas.

We had a short amount of time first thing today to arrange our new cool headbands, talk about the field trip, and sing a fun French song. Then we all lined up and hopped onto a bus to Ecole Father Jan.

When we arrived at Father Jan, we all gathered in the gym for an assembly, then we went to some centres...

First, a charades center (in a classroom with a cool lizard in it)

Second, a lego/blocks/sand/building centre.

Then the students enjoyed a recess outside in the parks, followed by lunch (11:45) with a nice little "sucre à la crème" treat.

Our third center was an FNMI game and word match

Our final center was a dance party!

Finally, we went to the gym where we enjoyed some fun singing with the singer Alex Mahé.

We returned at EMP around 2:30, and the class was able to burn off the last of their energy outside with Mme Harding.

For our final block of the day, students had a little snack (as many complained they were hungry). We did a round of Daily 5, chatted about the day, and packed up!
