Friday June 2nd 2017

This morning students wrote: "Have a super great weekend" in their agendas.

After completing a round of French Daily 5, the morning message and calendar time, we decided as a class to postpone our ice cream and park reading log prize till next week! Students who also earned more than 15 bâtons could get additional toppings to their ice cream next week.

Grade 1's worked on writing about the farm they made earlier this week. Describing the animals, their location and what they are doing in the farm. Grade 2's learned about the daily life in Saskatoon (which is very similar to ours).

After little recess and snack, grade 2's compared the daily life in Saskatoon with the daily life in Meteghan or Iqaluit. Grade 1's completed an evaluation on living and non-living things.

The class was given time to finish their English stories.

After lunch, big recess and daily 5, students used the Chromebooks and Prodigy to practice their addition and subtraction up to 20/100 skills.

We ended our day with some Daily Physical Activity.
