This morning students wrote: "Happy St. Patrick's day!" in their agendas.

Students were super excited to find that our sneaky leprechaun friend came and set off our traps, left footprints, stole our gold, hung streamers in the ceiling, and changed Mlle's morning message. He also left us a little treat.

After the excitement students completed a round of French Daily 5. Then we began to talk about healthy eating, we learned about the Canada Food Guide and how it suggests certain things for us to eat. We also talked about combining healthy eating with exercise will allow us to grow up nice and strong and in good health.

After little recess and snack, we played some math games.

In religion, we learned that God feeds us spiritually and physically, and he encourages us to feed others as Jesus did the Five Thousand.

This afternoon, we completed a round of Daily 5, then we had fun using our mapping skills for a treasure hunt. We found some fun squishy dinosaurs and lizards, some marshmallow peeps, silly straws and iced tea!

We ended our day with some writing: "If I caught a leprechaun I would...." students were encouraged to stretch out their writing as much as possible.
