Students wrote: "See you on Monday!" in their agendas. Please don't come to school tomorrow, as the doors will be locked!

First thing today, I introduced the class to our French listen to a story centre, I also told them that they may now read to a partner during our French reading time in the morning. It is always so nice to see how well the grade 1's and 2's get along.

Ice cubes were placed in the grade 2's isolants.

Grade 1's began to draw a monster so that next week they could write about it. Grade 2's drew a dinosaur that they will also begin to write about next week.

After small recess grade 1's worked on a five senses worksheet, while grade 2's discussed all the different things we could do in Meteghan-they then began to write about what THEY would like to do if they went there.

The class finished learning the story about Moses and the Israelites, they then began to learn about the Ten Commandments.

This afternoon we did our Daily 5. The class was introduced to being able to make a choice of their daily 5.

They enjoyed gym with M. Mark (Mme Harding's sub)

We ended the day by reading a book, talking about WHY some grade 2 isolant's worked better than others, and cleaning the classroom!

Have a great weekend!
