Our agenda message today is 'Scholastic book orders due tomorrow'. This is your last chance until September!

First thing today, we were asked to participate to the traditional EMP Panoramic photo!

This morning students completed the writing about their silly animal. They then had the opportunity to practice reading and presenting their animal to some friends. Please note: The writing that your child has done is meant to guide your child, as well as give them an idea of what they can say during their presentation, not to be read off! These presentations will start tomorrow.

The school practiced a hold and secure drill.

In gym we worked on kick-ball and soccer lead up games.

Upon our return to the classroom, we read a book containing some math word problems, and we solved the problems together. We then looked at some pictures, and created our own math word problems.

Before taking off for lunch, we discussed as a class our water bottles: that a good time to fill them is during snack and lunch.

This afternoon students re-visited what they learnt about poetry, we specifically spoke about the difference of using your poet eyes vs. poet ears.

We then learnt about our Mary, and how she is just like our mom, she fed, cleaned, cared for Jesus!

Finally, we listened to our star of the week show off her knowledge!
