Welcome to our short week!

This morning's agenda message was : "We have library tomorrow!" Because of the Winter Fun Day happening during our usual library time, we have switched our time! Please don't forget!

Students completed some writing about their dads. Our Second Star Of The Week did an awesome job at presenting himself! 

We were introduced to stealing batons (popsicle sticks) every time a student hears one of their friends speak English, when they could say something in French, they can steal a baton. This is to encourage the class to speak french!

Students enjoyed music with Mme Dominique.

We practiced our landings in Gym.

This afternoon we learnt about the flip the sound and cross check strategy. This meaning that you should flip the sound of a letter (for example the word baby, a has two sounds: its own name as well as the AH sound.) then cross check by looking at the pictures.

We also completed our sens of sight, by discussing what can damage our eyes and how to protect our eyes. We also created some Braille bookmarks!
