Our agenda message today is 'Practice English sight words'.

Students had the opportunity to use their French dictionaries to write about what they like to do in the spring time. They also wrote about what the trees look like during the spring and had the opportunity to go outside and draw their spring time tree!

In Social Studies students completed their own maps, complete with a compass rose, a legend, symbols and a title.

We exchanged our library books.

Finally, we started to learn about measuring the weight of an object. We explored in the classroom a variety of objects, and compared their weights, using the vocabulary: "Heavier and lighter"

In English we learned about ensuring that our "How-to" books make sense. We read them to a partner, who needed to act out the steps. We then re-visited our writing to make sure the steps were more clear.

We ended our day exploring the "Our Father." learning what each phrase means, and especially learning what Amen means!
