This morning students wrote: "Check out my poem on Seesaw" in their agenda's.

After French Daily 5, morning message and calendar time, grade 2's continued to brain storm situations and events for their French story, then they were given time to plan. Grade 1's added an animal body parts to their dictionaries, then we started a discussion about animal adaptations.

Students enjoyed another Tennis session with the experts.

After little recess, and snack, grade 2's worked on answering some simple questions about bugs, while grade 1's talked about how things were different in the past. Grade 2's then learned that insects have certain characteristics; legs, antennas, three body parts, their skeleton is on the outside and they are cold blooded. Grade 1's wrote about certain changes from the past till now.

Students exchanged books at the library.

After big recess, lunch and daily 5, students wrote a poem, then they transferred their poem on a google doc (now posted on Seesaw). Then they were able to play Prodigy ont he chromebooks. PRODIGY is currently set to having your child practice addition and subtraction questions.
