This morning students wrote: "Christmas concert tonight. Frosty/Grinch day is tomorrow". Grade 1 students were quickly sent off to join either Mme Pamela or Mme Bailey after the morning prayer to walk to the church, during this time, Grade 2's completed a round of French daily 5.

After French, grade 2 students re-visited what we knew about Acadian of Nova-Scotia. We reviewed their flag, and students then colored their own flags. Afterwards, we talked about the symbols we would have on our own personal flags if we could make one.

Grade 2's enjoyed a snack, followed by a walk to the Church for the concert rehearsal, and the rehearsal itself.

When the grade 1's returned, they finished writing in their agenda's, and participated to calendar time. Depending on which class they were added to, students either participated to library and music or jeopardy French games!

After lunch and big recess, the class completed a round of English Daily 5. We then read our afternoon message, and reviewed the expectations of tonight, as well as tomorrow.

Students did some Christmas story writing.

We ended our day by learning about how Jesus was born to restore our friendship with God.
