Our agenda message today is 'We have library tomorrow'.

This morning students reviewed their Spring vocabulary and added a new Spring themed page to their dictionaries. They additionally found and highlighted the combos on the page. We also created an 'All-About picture' of the Spring time and labeled it with French vocabulary that we brainstormed together. Students then viewed a few spring time videos, and we brainstormed different changes that we see in nature during Spring.

We learned that we can measure the size of a surface using cards!

Students then listened to a book about maps and finished exploring the maps that they did not get a chance to see yesterday. We then discussed as a class that a map is shown from a high up view, like a butterfly's and we drew a map of our classroom! Students then drew their own map (bedrooms, how to get to the park etc.)!!

This afternoon, students continued to write their own non-fiction or 'All about books'.
