Thursday October 22nd
This morning's agenda message was: "Early dissmisal tomorrow" Students will be dismissed at 12:36!
We started off our day in gym, where we practiced our ball handling skills, passing and catching, and then we practiced our throwing.
Students completed the agenda message, and we then read our "J'ai peur" book, which allowed us to practice our Halloween vocabulary!
We then enjoyed creating our story about "neuf hibou" that got stuck in a tree because of a big storm!
Students practiced subtilizing with ten grids, learning and understanding that when we look at a ten grid, if it is full it automatically means ten!
The class enjoyed using paint chips to reinforce the "pâle et foncée" vocabulary!
We finished off our afternoon with some fall writing, as well as some exploration of the story of Abraham and a young girl named Mary. Students then made a promise to 1) Work hard. 2) Do as we're told 3) Listen to the teacher 4) respect one another. They each signed their names to enforce that this is their promise to the class, and to God.
Have a wonderful night!
