This morning students wrote: " Read a French book tonight." in their agendas. and later in the day added "Technology day tomorrow."

After Daily 5, morning message and calendar. We spent some time reviewing our French combo's and French chunking rules... R's always marry themselves to vowels!!

We finished reading our French class novel (Nardeau le petit renard by Michel Quintin)

After little recess and snack, grade 1 students practiced the make ten strategy, while grade 2's practiced subtraction.

We then did some English, and students learned to use key words when taking notes on topics. Afterwards, they used the Chromebooks to continue their animal and small crawling flying animals research 

After lunch and big recess, students completed a round of Daily 5, enjoyed gym with Mme Harding, and we ended our day with a good discussion about emotion, and strategies to help us deal with our emotions.
