This morning's agenda message was "Early dismissal tomorrow." students will be let out at 12:36 pm.
Students enjoyed their last day of going on the gymnastics beams, we collectively went through the circuit that had been set up over 100 times!!! Loads of huffing and puffing today...
After our gym, we did some quiet reading, and we prepared for a writing activity that will be happening next week by writing possible problems that can happen during winter time (slipping on ice, falling in the snow etc.)
Students were tested on their sight words. During which time we started making our own snakes and ladders chart... filling in a nearly blank 100 chart was not the easiest task in the world, but we made it!
Afterwards we completed our discussion about what Canada looks like.
This afternoon, students started with a mitten activity, that will lead them into descriptive writing about a lost mitten.
To end our day, we reviewed lent, and visited the words: parable and merciful!
