This morning students wrote: "We have library tomorrow." in their agendas.

After this morning's assembly, students completed a round of Daily 5, decoded the morning message and participated to calendar time. We had a good class discussion about the muddy situation outside, and ways to avoid coming into school all covered in mud.

Grade 1 students completed another writing assignment using their animal words, grade 2's began brainstorming situations for their French story.

After little recess and snack, grade 1's and 2's played an addition and subtraction dice game, then the grade 2's practiced addition using base ten blocs, while grade 1's practiced their near doubles.

Students enjoyed Music with Mme Dominique.

After lunch and big recess, grade 1's enjoyed gym with Mme Harding, while grade 2's shared their plan of a constructed device that could use a magnet. Ask them about their ideas! They were pretty cool...

Grade 2's continued to learn about some of the Saskatoon geography-specifically their rivers.

When the grade 1's returned, we completed a round of Daily 5, then grade 2's learned about adjectives, verbs, and nouns, and we used: https://www.eduplace.com/tales/ to make some silly stories.
