This morning students wrote: ''Practice counting to 100 in French" in their agendas.

Throughout the morning, the kindergarten students came for a visit, and we showed them what makes grade 1 awesome: learning to read in French!

During the time we didn't have visitors, students completed the morning message and calendar time.

Grade 1's worked on their play (using their masks) while grade 2's compared the physical geography of Iqaluit, Saskatoon and Meteghan.

After little recess and snack, students used the park image on Seesaw to describe the variety of shapes found in the picture.

In music, the class enjoyed listening to their classmates talents! What little rockstars.

After lunch and big recess, grade 1's enjoyed gym with Mme Harding, while grade 2's learned about the ways in which animals depend on plants and ways in which plants depend on animals; e.g., particular plants may serve as a source of food and shelter, animals may help spread pollen and seeds. (The food chain)

When grade 1's returned, we completed a round of Daily 5, and then we ended our day with making posters for street safety. These have gone home! Feel free to post your poster :)
