Monday January 11th 2016

On this Whisper day, students wrote in their agenda: "Practice French flashcards". Our new clothing unit has been thoroughly launched, and it's time to practice at home too! Please check out my Français page on the website, for the video of me saying the names of all the objects on the flashcards.

Students then created posters to revisit H-honesty R-responsibility T-tolerance S-safety in the hallway, as well as what our recess agreement is. Tomorrow we will finish our HRTS and recess agreement posters and we will present them to our classmates.

We enjoyed music with Mme Dominique, and then in Gym we practiced passing and dribbling the ball, finishing off our time doing a relay.

Mlle conducted a simple Math evaluation regarding addition. Everyone did great!

This afternoon we had a class meeting about how to enter the school after recess, as one of our students was hurt! We then moved into being introduced to our next daily 5-Listen to a story! We practiced how to prepare for listening to a story, and then we all moved into our Daily 5 positions.

We finished off our day with an introduction to John the Baptist.
