Monday April 24th 2017

This morning the class wrote: "No library tomorrow." As noted in the week at a glance, this is because we will be following the Friday schedule.

The class participated to the weekly assembly, followed by Daily 5, morning message and calendar time. Grade 1's then continued to work on writing about their fruit and vegetable man while grade 2's continued with their stories.

After little recess and snack, grade 1's did measurement centres while the grade 2's practiced estimating and measuring the distance around.

Students enjoyed music with Mme Dominque's substitute.

After lunch and big recess, grade 2's finished learning about Iqaluit by learning about why living in the north is so expensive, and comparing grocery store prices. Grade 1's enjoyed gym with Mme Harding.

When the grade 1's returned, the class completed a round of Daily 5, then they were introduced to tomorrow's non-fiction google slide project.

We ended our day with writing inside of resurrection butterflies how we've changed this school year.
