Our agenda message today is 'Talk about signs of Spring'. This will give you and your child the opportunity to really set what their knowledge is of spring!

Students had the opportunity to read their tooth stories to a partner. We then moved into our new French theme of: Spring. Students brainstormed words that signify Spring.

The class enjoyed music with Mme Dominique, followed by some fun racquet activities in the gym

We read a book about maps and explored a variety of maps and mapping books in Social Studies.

We then continued learning about non-fiction writing. Students "graduated from simple fiction writing". They then started to write their own "How to" notes: how to do a cartwheel etc. We discussed as a class that whenever you write a "How to" paper, you need to start by listing things you could teach people to do, and choose one. Then you need "How To" paper, then plan the steps on the paper, maybe sketch the steps! Then write it. Write a first page that tells what you need. After that, tell the steps in order.

We ended our day learning about the story of Jesus' first appearance to the disciples after his resurrection
