Students wrote: "Please check your e-mail tonight." in their agenda's, the e-mail will notify you wether or not you can send your child with a teddy bear and pajamas               

Grade 2's brought home an in-school field trip permission form, please have it signed and returned as soon as possible. A reminder that you can always find additional copies on my website under the permission forms tab.

This morning the class was reminded of their goal to earn 5 bâtons for speaking in French... It was lovely to see how encouraging the group was.

Then, they completed a round of French daily 5, decoded the morning message and completed calendar time. 

Students were then given a story beginning, to which they each had to write a middle.

After little recess and snack, we used the base ten blocs to represent numbers, then the grade 1's practiced the make 10 strategy while the grade 2's practiced adding with ten.

In religion, we learned the story of when Jesus appeared to his disciples, and the story of Thomas' doubt 

After lunch and big recess, we had time for a round of Daily 5, then we cleaned up the classroom, had gym with Mme Harding and an extra recess outside as the prize earned for raising the most money for the Holy Childhood Association.
