Our agenda message today is 'Class play tomorrow at 2:50pm'. Please join us to see our fun class play! Once the song and play are done, students will prepare their backpacks, and we will all go outside to play in the park, and socialize!

This morning, students practiced their play, adding actions, and the song as well perfecting actions. Students were also tested on their sight words!

We were also visited by a member of the Lions community, who spoke to the class about Canada, and what the maple leaf is all about. He gave all the students a flag and a coloring page!

After small recess, students enjoyed designing, drawing and painting the backgrounds for their play! Afterwards, we used the backgrounds to help us perform our play even better!

Students then continued to practice their sorting skills by completing a few math pages.

The class also won 15 minutes of free game time, with our "balloon countdown".

This afternoon, we completed an all about first grade writing page, followed by completing an activity for our end of year mass.
