This morning students wrote: "Send in a fruit and library books tomorrow" a reminder that we will be making a fruit salad at the end of the day in order to reinforce the writing we did on Monday about our fruit salads.

Students read the story: La chenille qui fait des trous. They started writing their own version of the book this morning, starting with Monday and Tuesday!

After small recess, we continued to build on our knowledge in Math with counting by two's five's and ten's.

Students started to plan the building of their leprechaun traps, we brainstormed what leprechauns really like, and what would make them walk into our traps. If your child asks for something to bring to school tomorrow to help us with our traps, please send them in!

This afternoon we practiced a variety of reading strategies with our afternoon message, particularly decoding strategies for hard words.

Students enjoyed gym with M. Loiselle.

To end our day students wrote very cute and interesting stories about what they would do if they caught a leprechaun!
