Happy Leap Day! Students were pretty freaked out that the next time this day would happen would be when they're in grade 5!

In our agenda's we wrote "Practice counting up to 100 in French" I would suggest that you flash them a card (ex. 57) and ask them to count up from that number. This will give you a clear idea of what your child's abilities are in recognizing their numbers.

This morning students continued writing their French stories.

After small recess they enjoyed Music with Mme Dominique.

We practiced our stick handling techniques in gym.

Afterwards we reviewed what kinds of things make a community, and we also differentiated between and urban and rural community! It would be very helpful if you ever go on a trip to have your child differentiate the two.

This afternoon after our Daily 5 students practiced their printing books.

To end our day, students drew and wrote in a cross the steps they would take to follow Jesus.

Have a great night!
