Wednesday February 10th 2016

This morning our agenda message was: "Review English sight words" Tomorrow is our first day back after two weeks off! Let's see how well we can do!

Afterwards, students finished their snow man at night French writing activity, adding a picture as well as some color to their book! It has been sent home for your child to practice and to keep!

After small recess, we reviewed our Rights and Responsibilities as Canadians, a very difficult topic to understand for the kiddos, but most of them understood that Canada is a safe and welcoming place

Students enjoyed music with Mme Dominique.

We enjoyed the end of our morning with a 5 senses activity, examining our tongue, looking for our taste buds, and identifying which sections of our tongues taste what kind of tastes.

This afternoon, students attended to our ash wednesday celebration. Students were anointed with ash. We were then given a helping beads project, that will be sent home hopefully this weekend.

We ended our day with Daily 5, as well as an Ash Wednesday discussion.
