Good afternoon!

This morning's agenda message was "Wear snow pants tomorrow" This is a reminder that tomorrow we will be doing some winter writing OUTSIDE. Thankfully the weather is proving to be -10 degrees outside, so the students will survive the cold, however maybe not the wet bums :)

Students completed a writing activity, they dressed a little girl, and wrote about what they put on her.

After small recess, students were introduced to the sense of smell, smelling a large variety of objects, ranging from fish, to onions, chocolate to cinnamon.

Students enjoyed music with Mme Dominique.

We completed our recess agreement posters, and discussed what it is to be a good EMP student.

This afternoon students learnt the Lips The Fish reading strategy. This strategy means to prepare the letter with your lips so that you can see what the word could be... For example: In the winter it gets c_____! (students would prepare the c sound, and use the context given to guess the word)

We switched out our library books, and made some crowns!

Our day ended with some writing and drawing of who in our family shows us goodness as John the Baptist did.
