This morning's agenda message was "Hot lunch tomorrow"

After a morning in the gym, we went into the classroom and did a reading comprehension activity, and then students went and created their own!

After recess students enjoyed some estimation activities in Math

We completed a drawing of our "School" to represent our sense of belonging.

During the afternoon we practiced quiet reading to a partner, and we ensured we remembered how quiet we were with our magic fingers!

Jacqueline came and did another Strong Start lesson, we learnt about how BIG our problems really are. (Not that big... a BIG problem would be a plane crashing into a building, or a tsunami) so at home, you can always ask your child: "How big is your problem?"

We finished off our day with Writers Workshop, learning about how every story has a beginning, middle and end. We then started to write our own story.
